Debesh Sarkar

Was born in Calcutta, India where he attended Calcutta University with a degree in Civil Engineering. Shortly after graduating, the Communist Party began to take control over his state in India. Prompted by the challenging conditions under communist rule, Debesh decided to immigrate to the United States and began his career.
Debesh knew as a young man that the United States was a great country and that his hard work and perseverance would be realized and appreciated here in America. He later went on to earn a master’s degree in Architectural Technology from Columbia University in New York. With his qualifications, he was able to work on several remarkable projects in the building, energy, and automobile industries. Some of the designs he has worked on include office buildings, power plants, and a stadium in Philadelphia.
Debesh now works at the North Carolina Department of Transportation and has been there since 2000. Debesh strongly believes in giving back to his community and helping those who are struggling. He hopes that his work with those who need a helping hand will inspire others to give back as well.

Debalay did his graduation in Political Science Honours from Calcutta University .After completing his graduation he did his master from IISWBM Kolkata. After finishing his post graduation he went to United Kingdom and did MSC in International Tourism Management.
